Introducing Keep My Story – your path to saving the stories, lessons and passions of those who mean the most to you.
The nursing home was busy today. More visitors than usual. I could hear the sounds of children playing, laughing, being mischievous over the din of the dishes in the cafeteria and the reception area television turned up full blast.
My guess is that it was busier because today was Mother’s Day. Sons and daughters, grandkids and great grandkids were coming to visit. Some had flowers, while others had giftwrapped boxes or bags of the resident’s favorite sweets. Yes, that’s what they are now. Residents. But for decades they were Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa. For decades they had vibrant, vital lives, just like we do now.
And they have stories to tell.
Amazing stories of a life well lived. Stories of friendship, romance, successful careers, heroism, childhood, life lessons and the list goes on. In a few months or years from now, those stories will be lost. Gone forever. And this is a tragedy that plays itself out over and over again, millions of times. All that’s left are pictures in a box in the attic, or on our phones, or VHS videotapes that are dusted off on special occasions. But the stories are living, breathing testaments to their cherished time on earth.
And now you can save them.
I’m Cynthia Lett, and I’ve made it my personal mission to preserve as many of these life stories as possible with Keep My Story™.
Life is such a short and precious commodity. We often take it for granted in so many ways. Keep My Story™ will help you save the memories of your aging Mom, Dad, Grandmother or Grandfather.
Through a very detailed interview with probing questions that cover a wide spectrum of topics from their past, we will put together a loving tribute that you can keep for generations.
Chances are they are longing to tell these stories to help keep them feeling whole, as they look back, reminisce and celebrate what it was like to live their life. This is why this project is so important. It helps everyone involved: you, your children, their children, and most importantly, the storyteller.
Decide that you want to keep your stories for future generations.

“Bless you. My mother, mother in law, and grandmother all had Alzheimer’s. They are gone. Thank you for this wonderful service.”
“I am so glad I did the video so my Grandson will be able to know about me when he grows up and I’m not around anymore.”
“The video I made will allow my Grandson and Great Grandson to know me better when they grow up. This is the next best thing to being able to tell them my stories in person when they will be old enough to understand and appreciate them. Thank you so much for making this happen.”
